Below are a list of funding options to make access to private speech therapy simpler.

Jordan's Principle

If you/your child is Indigenous, you may be eligible for health, social and educational funding, including speech therapy, under Jordan's Principle. Click here to determine your eligibility and submit a request.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Children aged 0-5 may be eligible for funding in the amount of $22,000 per year. Children aged 6-18 may be eligible for up to $6,000 per year.

If your child has not yet received an Autism diagnosis, click here. The current wait time for a public assessment is approximately 80 weeks. In the meantime, you can get started on speech therapy through your EHP.

At-Home Program (AHP)

If your child has a severe disability or complex health care needs, you may be eligible for funding through this program by clicking here.

Extended Health Plan (EHP)
